Ludhiana: A big fire broke out in the garment factory

Ludhiana: The incident of a large fire was reported at the garment factory at Kali Sakak in the early Sunday morning which made fire fighters on their toes.
The fire was on the second floor of the building and because of a long hall, officials struggled to control the flame.
They have to break the walls from five to six points.
It was a narrow escape for more than two dozen factory workers who worked in the unit at the time of the incident.
Firefighters took more than four hours to control the fire.
In accordance with the Aatish Rai Firefighters, they found out about fire with Sungrace Private Limited at 6am but workers claimed that around 5:30 a.m.
that they saw a spark suddenly inside and in time the fire spread in stock stored inside.
The workers first tried with a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire but it didn’t work and they rushed out.
He said they came to the place after receiving information and began to spill water on fire.
Rai said, “Because of the intense heat, even the walls and ceilings of the building were badly damaged.
We have to make space for smoke while breaking the walls of the coexisters and also water does not reach the last point.” He said the fire was controlled around 10am and the fire tender produced more than 40 rounds.
Meanwhile frantically gripping areas and factory owners from other factories also began receiving phone calls.
Arun Kumar, owner Amit Hosiery, also received a call at around 6 in the morning.
He said, “I got a call from my factory staff about fire at a factory side by side so I had to rush there.
Because of the heat, my factory wall also became hot.
We decided to observe a vacation at the factory on Sunday when taking prevention.
