Ludhiana: A big fire broke out in the warehouse, Kutcha number 16, at the initial ganj field on Thursday morning.
The fire occurred in a building where plastics were stored in large quantities and in a few seconds the fire spread throughout the building.
Fire fighters are pressed into action after receiving information.
The firefighters tried to water the fire but black smoke created a problem in controlling the situation.
Fortunately, there is no loss of life or injury to anyone, but the material stored in failing to fail to breathe the fire completely.
“It was around 5.45 in the morning when we received a fire call and rushed to the place.
The fire department watered the fire from the inside and also from buildings side by side,” said Rajinder Singh, led the fire department.
Singh said that it would take more time to control the fire completely.
Being among the most dense and solid-populated city areas, fire can department if it has happened during the day because many traffic remain around.
Because adjacent shops are closed, the fire tender can move easily.
