Mohali: Police travel special examinations at VR Punjab Mall at Chandigarh-Kharar Road on Christmas on Saturday, days after the Ludhiana District Court bomb blast.
In the direction of SSP Navjot Singh Mahal, SP (Rural) Singh together with the Balongi Sho Police Station, the detection team and bomb detection scanned the mall for four hours.
The police also founded Naka specifically at the entrance to Balongi and examined the commuter.
The police said there was a severe invasion of buyers because of Christmas in the mall and to avoid unward’s incident, the police conducted a special examination.
Police officials said such drives would continue in a busy market and other buildings in the coming days.
