DGP also held a meeting with field officers on Friday and directed them to stay maximally guard to prevent further terror attacks in the state.
There was no politics in the case against Majithia The DGP overriding any politics in the case of the leader of the Bikram Singh Majithia, whose guarantee was rejected by the Mohali court on Friday.
Chattopadhyaya said that the investigation was happening even when he had not been arrested.
“The law is to take its own courses and there is no politics behind the registration of cases,” he said.
