Ludhiana: Member of the city of Karamchari Dal on Tuesday blocked the main entrance of the State office against the state government because it did not meet their demands to regulate contractual staff.
In continuation by protesting them, employees also burned the headquarters of the Minister of Local Institution Brahm Mohindra and said that every day they would burn statues from one minister of cabinet unless the government would fulfill their demand.
Karamchari City Chairman Dal Vijay Danav claims that they will continue their protests unless the government will not include contractual employees in the Regularization List of Employees.
He said they blocked the MC office entrance and gradually they would also stop working MC if needed.
Meanwhile, when the main entrance closed for public movements and side gate officials opened so that people should not face harassment and complete their work.
The entrance closed at least for an hour after the employee went to Rani Chowk’s eyes and burned the headquarters of the minister of the local body.
It created traffic barriers for passengers passing the road for several minutes.
After this, employees announced to continue protests even on Wednesday.
Cooded in two unions, employees divided a struggle between two MC trade unions, Karamchari Karamchari and Sangharsh city employees to take regularization credit employees who had divided employees.
The former Union member protested while the last Union member met with the cabinet Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu for this issue.
