LUDHIANA: Deputy commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Monday felicitated a wellness club for ensuring 100 percent vaccination of all over age 18 within Bhikhi village.
Developed by other deputy commissioner Amarjeet Singh Bains, SDMs Dr Baljinder Singh Dhillon, Mankanwal Singh Chahal, the deputy commissioner handed over the cheque of Rs 1,100 each to auxiliary nurse midwife Kiran Rani, Asha employees Gagandeep Kaur and Mandeep Kaur whose hard work created Bhikhi village that the earliest in Ludhiana with 100 percent coverage of 18+ taxpayers in Covid vaccination push.
Patting their neighborhood health club Jaswinder Kaur for exemplary support to the society,” deputy commissioner named them in the struggle against Covid and stated that the district government would remain to felicitate such hard-working wellbeing warriors for ensuring fast policy of inheritance from the inoculation push.
The deputy commissioner stated that the wellness team exhibited exemplary determination and courage from the warfare by vaccinating all that would save valuable lives.
Sharma stated that the war from Covid is very critical as the enemy is invisible and the virus may be combated effectively by offering a life threatening jab to each qualified beneficiary.
The deputy commissioner stated the spirit and fortitude exhibited by the gym is a good example for the rest and every team needs to create collective efforts to attain a 100 percent vaccinated population within their regions.
