Ludhiana: Jagraon City police on Saturday ordered four people, including a DSP and retired Asi, in the case of a guilty murder after a woman, who was allegedly tortured by the police, died on Friday.
The defendant was identified as Police Station Jagraon Jagraon then Gurinder Singh Bal (which is currently posted as DSP Bhawanigarh), ASI Rajvir Singh (retired), Harjit Singh, the then sarpanch of Kothe Sherjung, and then Dhyan Singh Singh Panchayat members.

Complainants said that because of the ordeal, his sister remained ridden in the past for many years and died on Friday afternoon.
He claimed that the sister and mother brought home by Village Panchayat of illegal detentions on July 15, 2005, after a complaint was filed in this matter.

Meanwhile, City Police Jagraon had booked was accused under section 304 (murder innocent that does not amount to murder), 342 (confinement wrong), 34 (acts done by several persons in the continuing intention of the public) IPC and ST (Prevention of atrocities) act.
SSP (Ludhiana Rural) Rajbachan Singh said they were investigating the matter.
He said they got a post-mortem of the deceased were conducted through the Board of Physicians on Saturday and most of the investigation will be based on the post-mortem report.
