Ludhiana: Police Pau has ordered six people, including garment manufacturers, accountants, rented accountants, an employee and other legs for cheating and fraud.
It was alleged that the defendant produced a fake bill and got a return on GST of Rs 13.48 Crore.
FIR has been submitted to complaints Commissioner Principal of Tax Services & Services Commissioner, against Narinder Garment Manufacturer Chug, Accountant Satish Sharma, Chartered Accountant Ankur Garg, Employees of RAM Bilad Yadav and Ahnan Sapgar.
The complaint stated that the defendant Narinder Chug had at least 18 companies where 12 were in Punjab, including in Ludhiana.
The accusation has sent a factory bill and got a refund of GST.
By doing this the defendant caused the loss of RS 13.48 Crore to the department.
The defendant has helped Chug in making a fake bill to execute fraud.
ASI Deaden Singh from Police Station Pau said that FIR has been submitted after a detailed investigation by a senior official.
The request report states that these companies are involved in passing / utilizing false input tax credits without the actual item supply and monetizing the same thing with refund fees.
He was also spoiled in utilizing export benefits without meeting export requirements.
He has used the input tax credit of 8.97 crore and monetization through a refund of GST funds of 4.80 crore total accounting RS 13.87 Crore.
He added that a case has been registered under 420 (cheating), 465 (punishment for forgery), 467 (valuable security forgery, will etc.), 468 (forgery for cheating), 471 (using original forged documents)) and 120 -B (criminal conspiracy) IPC.
