Ludhiana: Head of the Lok Insaaf Party (lips) and Atam Nagar MLA Singh Bains Simarjit Singh Bains has been ordered for allegedly raping a woman aged 44 years and another, including her brothers, has been booked for a criminal conspiracy.
The first information report (FIR) was submitted on July 10, however, Ludhiana police hid it until Monday.
FIR was submitted after order from a local court issued on July 7 which stated that criminal cases must be submitted without further delay.
The defendant was identified as the MLA-Atam Nagar Constituency of Simarjit Singh Bains, his brothers and sisters, Paramjit Singh Pamma, Kaur Baljin Workers, Jasbir Kaur Bhabhi, Sukhchain Singh and Pa Gopi Sharma.
FIR was submitted below Section 376 (rape), 354 (sexual abuse), 354-B (sexual violence), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) from the Copy (IPC).
The woman accused her that he was raped by Bains several times between April 2020 to October 2020.
He filed a complaint against the Bains and his accomplices on November 16 with the Rakesh police commissioner who was marked by the probe.
In addition, the woman was also approaching the Punjab & Haryana High Court in this matter.
The case in the High Court is still delayed.
The woman, who was a widow, said that after her husband’s death, he could not pay the emis from their home loan after bank officials harassed it.
Meanwhile, in April 2019 during the Lok Sabha’s election campaign, he met Simarjit Singh Bains who advised him to sell a house.
Bains also contacted Realtor Sukhchain Singh who sold a house.
The broker gave him Rs 4.50 Lakh and also made him plan in Jassowal Village.
However, he wants money so he asks for a broker to sell the plot and give the money.
The broker gave a lower number, where he called the Bains to intervene.
Bains asked him to come to his office.
There Mla raised him in his cabin.
After that the Bains threatened him and asked him to continue to develop physical relationships with him.
Then the Bains called the broker and asked him to give his money.
The woman further accused when she met a broker to get money, she also pressed it to continue to develop physical relationships with Bains to get more money.
MLA continued to call him in his office and the house of a Lip Jasbir Kaur Bhabhi worker, who lived near his office.
Mla raped several times there.
The woman further added that the younger brother of MLA Karamjit Bains also threatened him and sent a mess message.
The woman also accused that Pa Gopi Sharma threatened his father to attract complaints.
Inspector Amandeep Singh Brar, Sho in Division Number 6 said, “The police have registered a case in this case in the direction of the court.
The next probe will be arrested”.
Despite several attempts, the MLA bains cannot be contacted for his statement.
