Ludhiana: Residents of Jalan number 4 in Amarpuri at Ward-31 held protests outside the C Zone Corporation’s office Ludhiana Municipal on Wednesday against the water supply contaminated in the household for 15 days.
Locals claim that they get acid mixed water through their connections because their water supply lines are rusty and skilled chemicals into water because the closest industrial units are claimed by residents because they have told citizenuan officials about this problem and the water lines are excavated.
However, work left unfinished because civilian officials stopped providing material to workers.
BJP leader Pankaj Sharma also accompanied residents during protests.
Sharma said, “People ask the authorities to solve problems as soon as possible because of the strange color, taste and smell of water.
There is one industrial unit near the area where chemicals seep into the water supply pipeline.” He said Zonal commissioners had convinced them to resolve this problem.
