Ludhiana: Maloud citizen has been arrested in the case of espionage for allegedly helping the Pakistani intelligence operation (PIO) in its efforts to honey trap defense personnel, police said Ludhiana.
Woman accused of allegedly even managed to enter the two groups whatsapp defense unauthorized personnel.
The charges were arrested have been identified as Jaswinder Singh of village Uchi Maloud David, who works at a factory in Malerkotla.
The city police had received confidential feedback from the Air Force Intelligence Unit, Jodhpur, about allegations that Singh woman with Facebook friends about a year ago.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Deputy (ADCP) – Investigation Rupuk Kaur Bhatti said following the input, they arrested the accused and asked him about his relationship with the woman.

She had introduced herself as Jasleen Brar of Bathinda and claiming that he worked at the branch Account Indian Army in Bathinda Cantt.
To win his trust, she was also sharing audio recordings related to the movement battalion.
