Ludhiana reported 2 new Covid-19 cases

Ludhiana: Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Thursday told that under the “Fateh Mission” Punjab government, the number of Covid-19 patients who were cured in Ludhiana district increased every day.
He said that there were 31 active patients in the current district.
He said that sincere effort was done to make people still safe from Covid-19.
He said that a total of 2 patients (from Ludhiana Regency) had been tested positively in the last 24 hours.
He further said that until now, a total of 2354391 samples were taken, where 2255233 samples were found negative.
He said that now, the total number of patients associated with Ludhiana was 87494, while 11664 patients were included in other districts / states.
He said that the total number of people lost their lives including 2098 people from Ludhiana and 1049 from other districts.
He said that every time the district administration and the Ludhiana Health Department knew about positive people or suspects, their samples were immediately sent for testing.
Similarly, 9003 samples suspected of being patients were sent for testing today and the results were estimated immediately.
Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma appealed to the population to comply with all safety protocols such as wearing masks, maintaining social distance and often washing hands from the Punjab government to not only save themselves but keep everyone around him.
