Ludhiana: Residents of Dugri Village at Ward Number 43 have shown hatred of the authorities of citizenship and elected representatives of the region because they do not pay attention to their requirements.
On Wednesday, residents protested political people because they failed to streamline water supply in the area and they announced they would not choose any party now.
The Jaswinder Kaur area said, “We face acute scarcity of water supply in the area for a long time.
The water supply is irregular and most of our time depends on other areas to get a water supply.” He said when the authorities could not supply even supply Water to residents, what else can they expect from them.
Other residents of the Satnam Singh area complained that they raised this problem with regional council members several times but he did not appear even in the area.
He said a single tube was also installed in the area but was never used to supply water to the public.
He said they depended on other closest residents who had submersible pumps in their homes to fill the bucket.
But on the other hand, Reet Kaur Regional Council said, this is a home problem on two roads where water scarcity is a problem.
He said this area was at a height because the water level remained low.
He claimed that they got a single tube installed in the area but it didn’t work well so they now find another way out.
