Ludhiana: Laying the foundation for fighting any crisis due to lack of oxygen in the end the third wave of the Pandemic Covid-19 Pandemi, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma has requested 25 hospitals, including 24 private health institutions Ludhiana, including to install a swing adsorption generator Oxygen (PSA) Oxygen themselves immediately to meet the needs of Ludhiana in combating pandemic effectively.
In a letter to the medical supervisor of these 25 hospitals, Sharma said this plant would help meet oxygen requirements during the third wave and made this hospital produce oxygen independently.
He said the district government was ready to provide all kinds of support to the hospital whenever the need arose.
“Taking a view of experience in the second wave, we must prepare better to deal with the virus so that this hospital must establish an oxygen factory immediately before the emergence of the third wave,” he said.
DC said that with the installation of the PSA oxygen plant plant, the burden on district administration and vendors that supply liquid medical oxygen will minimize and smaller hospitals can be supplied by saving gas according to their needs.
