Ludhiana: The district on Wednesday witnessed the highest single-day calculation of new dengue cases in 122 exceeded the count on 77 days earlier.
However, there was no alleged death of fever reported from the district at the time because the number of district victims remained at four.
According to the Ministry of Health’s report, from new cases, 93 reported from the city limits while 13 were reported from Jagraon, one from Khanna and 15 of the rural areas.
This report shows that with the addition of new cases, the calculation of district-blooded fever has increased to 1,026.
