Lukewarm response for Odisha Bandh against the increase in fuel prices

Bhubaneswar: The normal life is partly affected in the state on Thursday because the six-hour bandh called by the left parties protested the increase in fuel costs, cooking gas and essential commodities in this country.

Similar scenes were witnessed in cities such as mixed, cuttack, puri, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Rourkela, Balasore, and other places.
Apart from bandh, motorbikes and four-wheeled looks plying on the road in several places.

CPM Secretary of CPM Ali Kishore Patnaik said the increase in fuel prices not only affected two-wheel owners and four, he also affected the cost of transportation of essential commodities, agricultural products and other items.

Gasoline prices are Rs 102.42 / Liter in Bhubaneswar on Thursday while Diesel sells for Rs 98.01 / liter.
