Luxury Car Sales: Suspension of Police Personnel Revoked

Mangaluru: The task of suspension of four police personnel, including two senior officers, who were allegedly involved in the sale of luxury cars at Mangaluru City Komisarier had been revoked after eight months.
The source of the Department of Crime Investigation (CID) said that they had investigated alleged sales of luxury cars by police personnel, which had been completed.
“The report was delivered to higher authorities, three months ago,” the source said.
Police Inspector K Ramakrishna, Police of Economic and Narcotics Crimes, Kababalraj, who served as sub-inspectors at the King Crime Branch, Mangaluru, and Constables King and Ashith from the city crime branch have been suspended, waiting for an investigation, in February.
The order of their suspension has been revoked, and they report back on duty.
Kababalraj posted in the State Intelligence Department, K K Ramakrishna, who will immediately retire from services, DCRE, Mangaluru.
King and Ashith were posted at the North Mangaloru police station and the Mangaluru police station, respectively.
Two luxury cars worth around RS 50 lakh confiscated from Delhi-based realtors, Tomy Mathew, T daran and others in suspicion of real estate scams, reported missing.
It was alleged that some of the city crime branch personnel who were bound to the City Police of Mangaluru had sold it, after the defendant failed to pay bribes.
Investigation of this case, including the sale of luxury cars, submitted to CID.
“We realized that the investigation report was handed over to the department official three months ago.
However, it has not been revealed.
Meanwhile, the revocation of our suspension was postponed for almost two months.
The department must reveal the conclusion of the final report,” urged police personnel suspended in the incident that.
