Gumla: A 35-year-old man was indicated and then burned by residents of Besrajera Village under the Police Office of the Kolebira from the Simdega District for cutting trees, on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Sanju Pradhan from Bambalkera Chhabridipa Village and was in Besrajera, a village dominated by Munda, police said.
SIMDEGA SDO David A Dodray said, “The villagers killed and burned charges of cutting the Sal tree from Khuntkati forest.” The report said the population of Bambalkera Village gathered around 1:00 p.m.
and decided to eliminate Pradhan after accusing him to cut wood from the Khuntkati forest.
At the time of the meeting, Pradhan was at his home in Besrajera.
The villagers came to his house, took him out and hit him to death and burn it.
