M B Rajesh Chosen speaker of Kerala Meeting

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: M B Rajesh was chosen as the speaker of the Kerala meeting. At the election held at the House on Tuesday afternoon, Rajesh got 96 votes of those 140 members. P C Vishnunath in the Congress had contested from Rajesh who got 40 votes. Protem speaker T A Rahim didn’t vote. Three members haven’t taken the oath because of ill health. M B Rajesh is the initial part of the state legislature although he’s represented Palakkad from the 16th Lok Sabha. This is actually the very first time a first-time MLA is getting to be a speaker of the home. He’s the 23rd speaker of the Kerala meeting. Following the election, the leader minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Opposition leader D Satheesan followed B Rajesh into the Speaker’s seat. In addition, it assumes significance a former speaker can also be a part of the home presently and is currently a minister from the country cabinet. He had been also the speaker of the home between 2006 and 2011. M B Rajesh has been created into Balakrishnan Nair and M K Remani and is now a native of Chalavara, Shoranur at Palakkad district. He’s a graduate in law from the University of Kerala and also a postgraduate in Economics in the NSS College, Ottapalam.
