THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: M B Rajesh was chosen as the speaker of the Kerala meeting. At the election held at the House on Tuesday afternoon, Rajesh got 96 votes of those 140 members. P C Vishnunath in the Congress had contested from Rajesh who got 40 votes. Protem speaker T A Rahim didn’t vote. Three members haven’t taken the oath because of ill health. M B Rajesh is the initial part of the state legislature although he’s represented Palakkad from the 16th Lok Sabha.
