New Delhi: MG Motor India will reveal the Compact Astor SUV on Wednesday.
Astor SUV will sit under the Hector in the portfolio and will compete with people like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun.
Astor will be the first SUV in its segment to offer Level-2 A-watershed (Adaptive driving assistance system) and artificial intelligence-powered infotainment control.
Astor is the fourth MG product in India and will aim to strengthen the SUV market.
Towards the disclosure, some dealer sources confirm the available engine and transmission options with Astor.
Astor will not have diesel powertrain.
Pinning hopes on gasoline, Astor will be powered by a 1.3-liter turbocharged gasoline and a 1.5-liter gasoline engine sucked naturally.
ASTER 1.3L machine which will be paired with automatic transmission issues a leading output number of 163 hp segments and 230 nm peak torque.
1.5L, on the other hand, will come with a manual option and the CVT gearbox option and will produce 120 hp and 150 nm.
Astor 1.3 liters are expected to come in sharp and intelligent intelligent trim while super and smart will be offered with a 1.5-liter variant.
MG Astor will display the Jiosavn application to drain music / videos, viewed installed on the Car Infotainment System, i-Smart Next-Gene accessed through a 10.1-inch display screen, which can also communicate with the owner’s cellphone.
This will allow customers to personalize their series of services.
The MG car owner will also get access to music in the Jiosavn application along with the first-first feature of booking a parking slot through the head unit (powered by Park + – Choose the city to start) in the car.
