Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit brought his social media to lament the loss of Pandit Birju Maharaj who left for his heavenly residence at the age of 83 reportedly for a heart attack.
Sharing photos with him, he wrote tribute and wrote, “He is a legend but has children like innocence.
He is my teacher but also my friend.”

Pandit Birju Maharaj and Madhuri Dixit worked together when the Kathak Choreography legend for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s hit film ‘popular dance number Devdas’ Kaahe Chhed Mohe’ Starring Madhuri.
