New Delhi: Madhusudan Law University, Cuttack, has been included in the Velsitas list set in accordance with Part 2 Act UGC, 1956 which will enable him to receive financial assistance from the central government, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Wednesday.
“Gladly sharing that Madhusudan Law University, Cuttack has been included in the list of universities set according to Section 2 (F) of the UU UGC, 1956.
The university will soon be able to receive central assistance under Section 12 (b) UGC Action,” Pradhan, which comes from Odisha, tweeted.
“The eight-decade institution named after Utkal Gobobab Madhubabu is one of the best legal universities in the region.
The central government is committed to changing the Landscape of Higher Education in accordance with the vision of PM Shri @Narendramodi and in line with NEP,” Minister of Education added.
The Grants University (UGC) commission provides financial assistance to universities that meet the requirements included in Section 2 (F) and are declared suitable for receiving central assistance (UGC) below section 12 (b) UGC Law, 1956 in accordance with the pattern Approved assistance.
