Chennai: Madras High Court on Friday Encouraging to regulate ownership of pets in the state.
“Let Tamil Nadu become the first country to come with such rules,” said the court.
“In our country, pets can come to the streets and do whatever they want and the owner is not responsible.
But in the US and Europe, the owner is under the obligation to discard even dog benches,” the first bench of acting Chairman of Munishwar Nath Bhandari and Justice P.
We will need petting an animal in a way that does not affect others, said the court while enlarging the scope of pills to move for dog maintenance at the IIT Campus (Madras).
Along with the submission of a lawyer that wild dogs have become a threat in the city, the court says Chennai Corporation must frame the right rules to examine the population of the dog.
The court made observations on pills transferred by people for Indian livestock (PFCI) for the exact maintenance of more than 100 dogs captured on the IIT-M campus and was submitted in three dog parks.
When the request came to hear, the judges questioned IIT about why he created a dog park instead of approaching the corporation, who was authorized to deal with this problem.
For this, advice for IIT filed that the decision was made by a committee consisting of representatives from the company, the Ministry of Forestry and Animal Welfare NGOs.
Record submission, the court directed advice to prepare compilation of all commands and written statements submitted in this case and postponed the trial on February 9.
