Madras HC Chairman of the Judge shifted to Meghalaya

Chennai: Only 10 months after being sworn in as chairman of Madras Madras, the Sanjib Banerjee High Court has ended when the Collegium Supreme Court has recommended his transfer to the Meghalaya High Court.
Justice Banerjee assumes the cost as CJ on January 4, 2021.
Transfer orders dated September 16.
“The Supreme Court Collegium, at his meeting was held on September 16, has recommended the transfer of Justice Sanjib Banerjee, Madras High Cource, Madras, to Meghalaya High Court,” said a statement released by the Collegium.
Collegium has also recommended the transfer of Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari, a judge in the High Court of Allahabad, told Madras High Court.
Justice Banerjee, who finished 60 years on November 2, has two more years.
Of the 75-judge Chartered the High Court, Judge Banerjee’s head moved to a high court who currently has two judges.
In a short task in Madras High Court, Banerjee has written several significant decisions.
In April 2021, the first bench headed by him.
Leaving the Indian Election Election Commission (ECI) for failing to maintain the Covid-19 protocol during the Council of TN polling campaign and said “ECI must be subject to murder fees to become the most irresponsible institutions (SIC)”.
He also warned to delay the election if the protocol was not followed.
Even though ECI went to the Supreme Court to eliminate the observations made by him, the peak court had refused to oblige.
In July, the judge, sitting in the bench in the court, punish the state government because he did not order anyone in connection with the sterlite police shooting incident where 13 protesters were killed.
“Can we kill people and throw money towards them and say that our work is finished?” The bench asked.
In July, the bench, which was shut down by the Chair of the Judge Banerjee had rejected the petition that challenged the validity of the committee suffered by the Government of Tamil Nadu to study the impact of the NEET in students from classes in socially and economically.
The bench has observed that “no one stopped the selected government from studying the impact of the NEET”.
In September, a bench headed by the Chairperson of Judge Banerjee had remeased elections for the local body Puducherry quoted “serious anomalies” in the seating chair for caste and scheduled women.
