Madurai: Madras High Court has directed the Director General of Shipping, Deputy Conservator believes the Port of Mumbai and Indian coast guard commander to hold the cargo ship marked Panama ‘M V Navios Venus’ in Port Mumbai for three weeks.
Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy passed the temporary command on Friday while hearing the petition submitted by P “with 17 crew members and vessels collided around 8:15 a.m., leaving the wounded crew and damaged ship.
Two injured was taken on land by Indian coast guards while others reached The beach with a broken boat with the help of fishermen from two other vessels.
Applicants argue that airplanes with panama flags and if they are allowed to sail outside our territorial waters, he and injured fishermen will be left without medicine.
Taking into this dispute, justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy directs Authorities to hold the cargo ship for three weeks at Port Mumbai.
The court ordered notification to official respondents and ships, and delayed this case until November 26.
