Chennai: Preparing the State Bank of India (SBI) to ‘Administrative Arrogance’ in requesting stamp vendors who oppose illegal cash handling costs ‘to approach other banks and continue their banking operations’, Madras High Court has resisted the bank.

Thus, they are expected to maintain good behavior and respect the rights of people who approach banks,” said the judge.
The problem is related to the batch of applications transferred by P S Shanmuga Sundaram and other stamp vendors who challenge validity collect allegations of handling cash by the bank.
Even though the bank believes that the accusation was collected only in accordance with the RBI circular master, they could not prove the same thing.
The state government also told the court that despite being clarified to the bank that they could not collect costs such as stamp vendors because the accusation had been paid by the government to the bank, SBI refused to accept the same thing.
For this, the SBI authority proposed that they were not bound by the circular state government because the state did not have administrative control over the bank.
Refusing to swear, the court said, when a state officer performed their solemn function, the bank was expected to respond to the appropriate communication.
