Chennai: Two days after allowing Jee Pass students to participate in the Tamil Nadu B arched counseling, Madras High Court on Wednesday emptied the temporary commandment, said it would bring the whole process of receiving to the grinding cessation.
Justice N Anand Venkates decided to empty the temporary order on October 25, as an architectural council, a legal entity to regulate the profession, told the court that the Government of Tamil Nadu refused permission for JEE students to participate in counseling only according to the board instruction.
On October 25, the court directed Anna University to allow candidates who had cleaned Jee (play) also to participate in counseling for B Arch courses 2021-22.
The court passed the order while hearing two requests that the state had denied permits for Jee students to participate in counseling suddenly.
They submit that according to the records until the academic year 2020-21, candidates who qualify in talent tests conducted by national aptitude tests in architecture (NATA) and candidates who qualify in the talent test carried out by qualifying to participate.
In reception to B Arch in Tamil Nadu.
However, when the prospectus was issued for the 2021-22 academic year, suddenly, Nata’s examination was considered for the B Arch course, they said.
“This is completely contrary to the information bulletin published by the National Test Agency, which makes it very clear that Jee (main) exam papers are carried out to enter B Arch and B courses throughout the country,” he added.
Therefore, Tamil Nadu cannot get out of the obligation by not allowing students who have undergone a jee test (play) to participate in reception, they said.
