Chennai: Citing defects in the recruitment process, Madras High Court has lived in interviews told by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) for recruitment to 226 post motor vehicle inspectors.
Interviews, scheduled for July 19, will not be held until further orders, said HC, directed TNPSC to provide all certificates and credentials from selected candidates for the applicant who had moved to court.
“Because this court believes that there are defects in the recruitment process, this court argues that the applicant’s rights must be preserved during the suffering of Writ Petition.
Therefore there will be an order to maintain the status quo,” said Justice S Sundar in a temporary command.
It was seen that TNPSC has now issued a notification on July 1, asking for the elected candidate to attend the interview on July 19.

There will be no interview during deposition of writing petitions or until further orders, the court added.
Directing the registry to post a request on July 19 for the final hearing, the judge said: “The court will consider whether TNPSC can be directed to publish marks obtained by all candidates in the written examination and for the publication of the certificate of all candidates chosen.” Institution credentials that have issued certificates It will also be considered on July 19, the court added.
The court issued orders on a set of applications transferred by candidates who challenge the recruitment process.
According to the applicant, of the 226 candidates chosen for interviews, many do not meet the requirements according to the recruitment notice.
They further showed before the court that some previously chosen candidates by holding that they needed the qualifications not selected and there were no ingredients for reconciling inconsistencies.
Recording submissions, Judge Sundar said: “In such circumstances, this court is a prime view of facies that all certificates and credentials from candidates chosen must be available for advice that arise for the applicant in all petitions written on all petitions.” Noting that such a step will ensure transparency in the selection process, he said, “this court can also get legitimate assistance while considering cases on excess.”
