Recently announced that the film Tamil Pottru is recognized critically, which displays South Star Suriya, will be remade in Hindi.

Now, BT has learned that Madras High Court has directed staying at Hindi remake which was recently announced.
The order of resisting 2D Suriya’s entertainment from exploiting Hindi film rights based on the only flying book – A Deccan Odyssey written by Captain GR Gopinath has been issued.
The original film in Tamil was made by Gunet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment and Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.
Sikhya entertainment has approached Madras High Court towards the last for film rights, including remake in Hindi.
Earlier this month, Abundantia Entertainment, known for supporting leading films such as Sherni, Shakuntala Devi, Airlift, and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, has announced that they will collaborate with 2D entertainment for Hindi Pottru Soorarai remake.
On probing why Sikhya’s entertainment approached Madras High Court, the source told us, “Sikhya Entertainment and 2D Entertainment made Soorarai Pottru together, and they should make Hindi films together too.
However, apparently, 2D entertainment sells the right to entertainment Abundantia without approval Sikhya and do not fulfill the obligations under the original agreement among those who lead.
