Madurai: Madras High Court on Thursday rejected the request that was looking for directions to the center to educate the Tamil Nadu people to respect the Indian country or Bharat by referring to their names because in official writings and speech by compliance with patriotism, sovereignty and respect.
In litigation of its public interest, Advocates T Ramasamy from the Dindigul District also looked for temporary orders to hold the Tamil Nadu head secretary from using the word ‘ondriyam’ (Union) while handling the Indian nation or Bharat in their writings, their writings or speeches to disposal of petitions.
The bench of the Justice Division of TS Sivagnanam and Justice S Ananthi observed that even though the Petitioner had submitted a prayer above, the appointment of the Petitioner’s advisor before the court was directed at the Minister of Justice Chair of the Constitutional Court of Constitutional Court Stalin and the Council of Interest which they treated the center while speaking in the legislative assembly.
The judges observed that in their views that were considered, the prayer sought thoroughly assumed and there was no direction that could be issued by this court directing CM or the Council of Ministers to speak in a certain way.
In addition, the prayer is really unclear about what education, the Petitioner wants to give the people of Tamil Nadu.
Therefore, the judges rejected the petition.
