Previously, the University planned to start the semester exam from the first week of December.
The exam for first year students is planned after a Pongal vacation.
Now, the exam for all students, including those in the first year, will be after January 20.
However, autonomous institutions that almost complete syllabus plan to do physical classes and revise the topic in the next few weeks.
Dg Vaishnav College has planned things for the next two months to prepare students for the exam.
“Classes have been carried out in this semester mixed mode.
So we will invite all students to the physical class and prepare them for the offline mode test by giving a bank question, the previous year’s paper,” said Santhosh Baboo’s head.
Most affiliated colleges have completed three and a half units of syllabus and plan to complete the rest on December 22.
“Our college plans to conduct a model exam from December 23 and a practical exam in the first week of January before offline.

College engineering also plans to conduct physical classes and hold a model exam before the start of the semester exam.
