Madrassa in LKO to double the free covid care clinic

Lucknow: To provide medical facilities that are on time and free to patients, Madrassa located in the old city area has been converted into a covid care clinic.
A charity clinic in Madrassa Abu Talib in Kashmir Mohalla who is densely populated by its protector, Maulana Saif Abbas, on Tuesday.
Facilities will begin functioning from Wednesday morning.
Doctors, nurses, and paramedic staff will be placed in Madrassa-Clinic which will be equipped with a Covid diagnosis kit, Oximeters and other equipment needed for early detection of Koronavirus infection.
In the second phase, the Ambit Talib clinic will also have an isolation bed and the unit will work as the main isolation facility.
“The idea came from experience during the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic which hit the city loudly in April-May.
People, especially from the minority community, fear of going to the hospital and ignoring symptoms at first.
When they were taken to the hospital , this disease reaches a severe stage, “said Maulana Saif Abbas.
“These people will visit the surrounding clinic without hesitation and make themselves be examined for Covid if they experience symptoms,” he added.
However, academic activities will continue without obstacles.
While students will study on the first floor of the building, the clinic will serve patients on the ground floor.
“The experience of lack of beds and other resources during the second wave of pandemic is the driving force behind the clinic.
We decided to use the Madrassa room as an isolation facility and start working in that direction.
Fortunately, the wave subsided when we could get something together.
For At present, it will begin as a covid treatment clinic and turn into isolation facilities, if needed, “added Maulana Saif Abbas.
