Madurai: Deputy Commissioner of Police (Armed Forces), Madurai City, G Somasundaram, was transferred on Thursday after his video made the lower class police playing a flute while being drunk.
Police Commissioner, Madurai City, Prem Anand Sinha said after an official investigation, the senior police had been transferred to the armed forces in Chennai.
In controversial videos, Somasundaram can be seen being drunk and sitting in a chair wearing underwear after oil massage.
Bottle of liquor can also be seen in the background.
The senior police can then be seen relaxed as a lower class police official playing music from Tamil songs on the flute.
Previously, he had posted a private video in Tiktok in a police uniform.
