MADURAI: The transgender specialty team from the Rajaji Government Hospital (GRH), conducted gender reassignment operations for the first time for two transgender people.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday by GRH Dean Dr.
A Rathinavel, the Gari assignment operation was conducted for a 21-year-old B Com graduate and graduated from M 24 years.
Duo, who has lived as transmitted for more than 10 years, underwent the unfolding of women’s assignment to the promise of men according to the protocol of the Tamil Nadu National Health Mission (NHM).
Hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-ooforectomy are carried out by the midwifery and gynecologist team led by the Head of Department, Dr.
N Sumathi.
Pre-operative and post-operative treatments were treated by the Ministry of Plastic Surgery led by the Head of the Dr Suresh Kumar Department.
Deans visit patients and congratulations all team members involved in transgender care from the Department of Psychiatry, Urology, Endocrinology and Anesthesia.
