MADURAI: Railway minister Piyush Goyal wrote individual letters to the kin of all 11 staffers of their Madurai branch, who’d died as a result of Covid-19. The letters will soon be passed on to the families in their house from the team welfare inspectors. From the letters, the ministry said that for the previous one year that the whole planet has been battling Covid-19, also in this particular fight, railways has selflessly committed itself to the support of the country. We’ll always be thankful for their dedication and hard work through those stressful days, it still read. “I need to allow you to know their existence will be greatly missed. I need you and your whole family calmness and fortitude, and my thoughts are with you personally. May God bless the departed soul and give you strength to bear this irreparable loss,” the letter read.
