Madurai / Trichy: Madurai reported 14 new Covid-19 cases and 15 recovery on Thursday pushing the number of active cases down to 145.
The death of Lone Covid-19 in the southern region was a 63-year-old woman from Madurai.
Meanwhile, Trichy reported 48 fresh cases and 54 releases lowered the number of active cases to 587 of 597 on Wednesday.
Trichy also recorded death to push toll to 1.003, the highest in the central TN.
