Madurai / Trichy: Madurai District reported 18 fresh Covid-19 cases, 26 recovery and no new death.
The active case fell to 223.
Meanwhile, Trichy recorded 45 new cases and 495 active cases.
The district issued 54 patients on Tuesday, recorded two deaths to take the victim to 1,049.
In Tamil Nadu Selatan, new cases fell to 97 on Tuesday, when recording two deaths.
The region also recorded 136 recovery.
Covid Case Reported in Tirunelveli (14), Dindigul (13), Kanyakumari (12), Sivagaai (10), Tuticorin (9), Ramanathapuram (8), Tenkasi (3), and Virudhunagar (3).
The area recorded two deaths, respectively in Sivagangai and Tirunelveli.
Nine central districts reported 191 new cases.
The number of active cases in this region also slipped to 2,562 from 2,657 on Monday.
With four more victims, the toll road has risen to 4,359 in the central area.
