Madurai / Trichy: Casing Covid-19 Fresh Madurai fell to 291 on Tuesday.
With 577 recovery, active cases also fell to 3,783.
Trichy also registered a decline in new cases, from 485 to 389.
The number of active cases also slipped to 4,483 from 4,724, while the district issued 610 patients.
Trichy recorded one death took the victim to 1,137.
In South Tamil Nadu, new cases saw a decline from 2,688 on Monday to 2,247 cases on Tuesday.
The total active case in this region also fell to 28.680.
With three deaths, victims in the southern region rose to 5,982.
Kanyakumari (658) recorded the highest number of new cases, followed by Tirunelveli (336) and Madurai.
All other districts, Virudhunagar (160), Tuticorin (156), Dindigul (155), Tenkasi (153), Theni (149), Ramanathapuram (106) and Sivagagai (83) recorded less than 200 new cases on Tuesday.
Nine central districts reported 1,580 new cases on Tuesday.
The number of active cases also fell to 19,523 from Monday 20,412, while the area issued 2,446 patients.
The territory victim rose to 4,629 with more victims on Tuesday.
