Ahmedabad: An earthquake of 4.1 was recorded in Kutch Gujarat Regency on Saturday with the center located near Dholavira, said the Semismological Research Institute (ISR).
There was no damage to the property or victim reported because of the moderate intensity earthquake, the district administrative official said.
“The 4.1-magnitude earthquake was recorded at 12.08 PM on Saturday with the center of its epicense 23 km northeast (ES) Dholavira at Kutch.
It was recorded at a depth of 6.1 km,” said the Institute based in Gandhinagar.
On August 4, the 4.0 earthquake was recorded in the district.
Kutmen Kutch is located in “very high risk seismic zone,” in accordance with the state disaster management authority.
