Pune: A 21-year-old man who died and two people were injured in Karvir Tehsil from Kolhapur Maharashtra Regency after being beaten by Gaur, also known as Indian Bison, a large and Southeast Asian Bovine, the Ministry of Forestry said on Sunday.
The incident occurred around 7pm on Saturday in the Bhuywadi area, around 230 kilometers from here, and the deceased was identified as Saurabh Khot, he said.
“The animal deviated to the village of Bhuuwadi and, although there was an announcement not to disturb the cattle, people panicked and some of them chased.
It sued them soon after, killing Khot in place and injuring two people, who were in the hospital right now, “He told me.
