Mumbai: In what would bring assistance to prospective medical scholars, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (Muhs) had cleaned the deck to include a 670 MBBS seat for the second round of reception.
According to senior officials from Muhs, the inspection of most colleges is completed and the rest will be finished soon.
In the first round of reception, CET Cell released a list of allotment for government and private universities, but 650 of 2,720 seats from private universities and 20 government college seats were not included.
The list was uploaded, pulled, and uploaded with a few small changes in a matter of 12 hours, which led to confusion among students.
“This is a technical problem.
But this chair will be added in the second half,” said a senior officer Muhs.
Muhs officials said the GR approved additional seats and new colleges had come in the past week.
“The University must examine this college to provide one-time affiliation.
We have accelerated this process and chairs will be available for the second half,” the official said.
Personal colleges at a lower cost such as ACPM Navi Mumbai and ACPM disappeared, and additional seats are approved for KJ Somaiya, BKL Walahawar, and NKP Salve College does not reflect in the first list, which leads to a higher cut-off in private universities at first.
round.
Receipt at a private college was closed at the State Merit Rank 5,620 years ago and this year rose to 5,165 in the first round, said the Sudha Shenoy Main Representative.
“There is no clarity for students.
We hope they issue a notification of free distance so students can make the right choice,” Shenoy added.
CET CELL has clarified that universities that have approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state governments are added to the chair matrix, but during their allotment also requires additional approval from MUH.
