Mumbai: Nearly 95% of Covid-19 deaths in the government-managed medical college in the past two months have been among those who are not vaccinated.
In a strong demonstration of how effective vaccination against Covid, the analysis also found that 87.5% of those who were hospitalized were not vaccinated.
A study by the Ministry of Medical Education shows that there are 15,202 inpatient in all government medical colleges between May 11 and July 12, including 13,298 (87.5%) have not received a single dose.
This also means that vaccinated people only contribute 13% of hospitalization.
