MUMBAI: Maharashtra on Thursday reported 15,229 fresh Covid-19 instances and 307 deaths, requiring its caseload into 57,91,413 and death toll to 97,394, the health department said.
As numerous as 25,617 patients have been discharged from hospitals throughout the afternoon, pushing the amount of recovered cases into 54,86,206.
The country today has 2,04,974 active instances, it stated.
The recovery rate somewhat increased to 94.73 percent from 94.54 percent daily before.
The fatality rate dropped at 1.68 percent.

Palghar district at the Mumbai branch reported 22 deaths on Thursday.
The Nashik branch reported 1,996 newest cases and 53 deaths, including 21 deaths in Ahmednagar district and 13 each in Nashik town and rural areas of the Nashik district.
The Pune branch enrolled 3,885 new situations, 1,463 of these in Satara district,” the announcement said.
From 45 deaths in Pune branch, 19 and 17 were reported by mountainous sections of Solapur district along with Satara district.
The Kolhapur branch reported 3,533 fresh instances of coronavirus, for example 1,170 at Kolhapur district.
The branch reported 48 deaths of that 15 are from rural sections of Kolhapur while 14 from mountainous sections of Sangli.
Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts included six deaths every day.
The Aurangabad branch listed 355 ailments, Latur branch 747, Akola branch 931 and Nagpur branch 736 new circumstances.
In Latur branch, 12 deaths happened inBeed district followed by 10 annually in Latur and Osmanabad districts.
From 24 casualties at Aurangabad branch, 20 have been in rural sections of Aurangabad district.
