Mumbai: Even when their colleagues are declared passed and the results are based on internal assessment, thousands of students who want better their scores will take additional medium certificate (HSC) exams from Thursday.
The April-May HSC exam was canceled due to a pandemic.
All students are registered, including personal candidates and repeaters have passed.
Students who want to increase their percentage – have passed the previous year’s exam – have asked to be assessed and declared passed like their regular and private colleagues.
The state insists on them taking a physical examination.
The exam will be held from September 16 to October 11.
As many as 12,341 students from the country, including 4,744 from the Mumbai division will write a physical exam.
