Pune: up to 25% of the syllabus for STD I to XII will be cut, the State Education Department said on Friday, quoting a covid pandemic and school closure.
Maharashtra State Education Research and Training Council has published a list of topics that will be removed from the syllabus.
It’s for the second year that the syllabus has diminished.
“The size is taken considering the reduction of time is permitted to regulate the class and to help students achieve learning goals in a less stressful environment,” Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad tweeted on Friday.
Deputy Director of Mscert Vikas Garad said, the reduction in his siblings was the same as last year.
“Chapters or topics that are removed are published on the official website www.maa.ac.in.
Students and teachers can refer to the website to understand relevant portions,” he added.
