Aurangabad: Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) Government Order for shops to cervend a signboard in Marathi has triggered a fresh war war between all Indian Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and Shiv Sena.
Local Aimim MP IMTIAZ JALEEL has demanded government funds for shop owners to ensure the necessary compliance.
“This is a Gimmick poll by the MVA government to enforce such orders to the shop owner, who has struggled because of a pandemic.
While BJP is a hell to change the name of the city, the MVA government has an unnecessary interest in removing such dictates.
Such a step is not Will ensure work for teenagers, “said Jalael.
Local requirements Sena Sena Rajy Vaidya said the city MP had to release money from the MP funds to install the required nameplate.
“MP funds are also government funds.
Instead of asking the government for money, Jalael must spend money from the essence,” he said.
Sena leaders also threatened that they would take an aggressive attitude if the shop owner failed to install Marathi’s name.
“Mandatory Marathi Signboard is one of the efforts to preserve and spread regional languages.
This step will instill the linguistic culture needed among children and the younger generation,” Vaidya said.
In 2017, the state government has made it mandatory for all stores to have a blackboard written in Marathi.
While the decision failed to create the desired impact, the country’s cabinet recently approved a proposal where the shops had been asked to display a signboard in Marathi clearly in Marathi.
The order concerned states that letters in the Marathi-Devanagari script cannot be stored shorter than letters in English or other scripts.
