MUMBAI: The Maharashtra government on Friday restricted the fees for treatment of mucormycosis patients in private hospitals from the nation, in which the official amount of these cases has gone over 5,000.
The state health department issued a notification to this effect, requesting all charitable hospitals filed under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950to adhere to the restricted fees while healing mucormycosis patients.
The state administration has recognized 28 kinds of surgeries such as mucormycosis or black disease therapy, ” it said.
