Mumbai: The glaze board has been slapped for film shooting to exceed the current 4pm deadline in the state.
Minister of Justice Uddhav Thackeray has asked the film manufacturer Guild and TV to follow all the corresponding norms of Covid in shooting and asked City police to coordinate with them for permission.
During a virtual meeting with a guild manufacturer that has demanded an extension of shooting hours outside at 4:00 p.m., Thackeray said the guild had to ensure employee vaccination, Covid testing from the crew regularly.
Thackeray said that the state government took steps, slowly and cautious, to facilitate restrictions because cases in the state had not dropped much and the state had not come out of the second wave.
“We try to relieve restrictions carefully and safely, but everyone’s cooperation will be asked for it to work,” Thackeray said, added that even though there was a system that was in place for sporting events, the spread of the virus had been reported.
Nitin Tej Ahuja, the CEO of the Guild, said, “We thank CM for giving us patients, responsive hearing.
We asked that filming was allowed beyond the time limit at 4 pm today for several reasons.
First, the night scene demanded that they be filmed in night.
This cannot be managed in current limits.
Second, talent and labor cannot be replaced, and it is not always possible to manage the time of the main actor and technician together within 4pm.
