Kolhapur: Notification of the Maharashtra Government on January 14 to reduce the land market prices to be obtained to build a state and national highway by 20% regulated with opposition.
In accordance with the current norm, the government pays four times the existing market rate.
After the center of making land acquisition laws, it allows the state to modify existing laws by notification.

The leader of the farmer and former member of Parliament Raju Shetti had slammed the step, by saying the previous amendment was introduced to the middle law that had the same impact.
“After a large uproar from all over the country, the Modi government must hold the amendment.
However, asking countries to present changes by notification to apply a similar amendment.
We will resist the implementation of the teeth and nails,” he said.
Shetti accused that road building companies restore their costs with toll tax, which increases every year.
“However, farmers will not get proper compensation for their land, which is the source of their main livelihood,” he said.
Shetti added that he would meet with the President of the National Police Congress of Sharad Pawar to demand that the state government turn back his decision.
