MUMBAI: Days later principal minister Uddhav Thackeray appealed for producing cities from the country Covid19 complimentary, the Maharashtra government on Wednesday declared a”corona free village” competition to promote cities to follow Covid standards.
Prizes will be awarded to 3 villages that are doing book work in Covid-19 direction from each one of the six sales branches.
In all there’ll soon be 18 cities and a total of Rs 5.40 crore was budgeted for this particular initiative.
The first prize would be of Rs 50 lakh, next of Rs 25 lakh and next of Rs 15 lakh, ” said Urban development ministry Hasan Mushrif.
Villages will be rated on 22 unique criteria along with a total of 50 marks will be provided to the village according to its own performance.
The cities that win the competition will also get an additional sum equal to the prize money since reinforcement, and It’ll Be used for development functions in these cities, Mushrif Explained
